The 2200 Series gives crews 2,200 lb / 1-tonne lifting capacity across four standard models — the widest lift-range coverage in the eme line, from 66 in to 252 in maximum height. The shorter R-8 and LW-10 assemble by hand with a 1–2 person crew and two wrenches; the taller XT-15 and MAX-15 are designed for standard forklift-assisted setup. Shares the trolley family with the 1100 and 4400 Series.

The differentiator is lift range — from 66 in (R-8 for shop and service-truck lifts) up to 252 in (MAX-15 for tall mechanical-room and industrial installs). The 2200 Series is the lift most maintenance and contracting crews actually need most days — 1-tonne capacity is enough for the majority of pumps, motors, HVAC components, and light-industrial equipment, and the four-model lift-range coverage means there's a 2200 configuration for any ceiling height from a basement to a tall mechanical penthouse.

The taller XT-15 and MAX-15 reach lift heights where a standard forklift is the recommended way to set up safely and efficiently. The taller XT and MAX configurations reach 176 in and 252 in to the lifting eye — a standard forklift is the recommended way to set up safely and efficiently.

Rolls While Fully Loaded

Reposition the 2200 with the load on, on suitable level surfaces and in accordance with the operating manual — no need to unload, re-rig, and re-lift between positions.

Shared Trolley Family

All four 2200 models share the same trolley family as the 1100 and 4400 Series — train crews once, stock one shelf of spares, and move parts across the small-to-mid capacity tier.

Engineered, Welded, and Load-Tested for North America

Every eme 2200 Series gantry is engineered to ASME B30.17 (cranes and monorails), CSA B167 (overhead travelling cranes), the Aluminum Design Manual (ADM), and CSA S157 (Canadian aluminum structural design). All welded aluminum structure is produced under CSA W47.2 certification — the Canadian Welding Bureau's third-party credential for fusion welding of aluminum. Each 2200 Series design is qualified by a 150% proof-load test documented on the engineer-stamped drawing. Each production unit is then load-tested to 125% of rated capacity before shipment and supplied with a Certificate of Test.
