An eme gantry is three parts. An engineer-stamped leg set carries the rating. A beam, in one of three profiles, spans the lift. A trolley, matched to the beam profile, carries the hook. Buy the leg sets your loads need and configure each beam to the span. Trolleys pool by beam profile across the fleet, and every beam ships rated to its capacity class. You can always upgrade the beam length and keep the legs.

The 4400, From 5 ft to 30 ft.

The same 4400 leg set, re-beamed five times: 5, 10 and 15 ft on the 3×6 with the 2-roller trolley, then 20, 25 and 30 ft on the 3×12 with the 4-roller. The legs only move to take the next beam. Custom beam lengths are available.

Rendered from the 4400 production model at one scale. Every beam shown is rated to the 4400 class and fits any 4400 leg set.

One Leg Set, 5 to 30 ft.

The same set of legs runs every beam length in its range: 5 to 30 ft on the 2200, 4400 and 6600, to 28 ft on the 8800, to 25 ft on the 11000, to 15 ft on the 22000. When the span grows, order the longer beam for the legs you own.

Beam lengths. The beam profile and the trolley change with length; the leg set and its rating do not. Every beam ships rated to its capacity class and fits any leg set in that class.

Three Parts. One Rating Rule.

Every eme gantry from the 1100 to the 22000 is built the same way, which is what lets a fleet share parts and training across capacity classes.

Legs

The leg set carries the rating.

One engineer-stamped leg set per capacity class. The rating lives in the legs and stays the same at every beam length.

Beams

The beam sets the span.

Three aluminum profiles cover the line. The beam is cut to the span you need and ships rated to your capacity class.

Trolleys

The trolley follows the beam.

Trolleys match the beam profile, not the crane, so one spare serves every crane on that profile.

What the System Does for a Fleet.

Spares by profile, not by crane

A branch running eight cranes across the 2200, 4400 and 6600 classes stocks two trolley types, not eight. Spare trolleys are counted per beam profile; spare beams per capacity class.

Reconfigure instead of rebuy

A 4400 bought with a 10 ft 3×6 beam takes a 30 ft 3×12 beam and a 4-roller trolley when the work changes — same leg set, same 4,400 lb rating, with the new beam rated to the 4400 class before it ships.

Train once

Same A-frame geometry, same height-adjustment logic, same assembly sequence from the 1100 to the 22000. A crew that has set up one eme gantry has set up all of them.

Ship as parts

Knocked down, a gantry rides LTL. Steel transport frames in 8, 10 and 15 ft lengths hold legs, beam, trolley and casters in a forkliftable footprint for branch-to-branch moves and yard storage.

The Davit Line Works the Same Way.

One aluminum arm, a network of steel sockets. A davit fleet is an arm or two per crew and a socket at every lift point — the arm moves, the sockets stay. A utility running several plants standardizes on one arm model and installs sockets as lift points come up.

Engineer-Stamped Drawings With Every Crane.

OSHA 1910.179(k)(2) puts a crane's rated-load test at 125% of rated capacity unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise — the regulation's ceiling, and the level OSHA ties to rating a crane at 100% of its design intended loading; pre-service proof testing is an obligation on the employer putting the crane to work. eme completes that proof test on every gantry as part of its quality-control process, so each one ships with an engineer-stamped drawing and a Certificate of Test at 125% of rated capacity — the documentation a structural engineer, building inspector, or owner's rep needs to sign off on the lift plan, with the pre-service proof test already done. Gantries are engineered to applicable ASME and CSA lifting requirements and welded under CSA W47.2 certification by qualified aluminum welders.

Asked Before the Second Crane.

Does the rated capacity drop when I put a longer beam on the same legs?
No. The rating belongs to the leg set. A 2200 on a 30 ft 3×12 beam is rated 2,200 lb; a 4400 is rated 4,400 lb. The beam profile is chosen so the beam carries that rating at the span, and every configuration ships on an engineer-stamped drawing.
Which eme gantry series share trolleys?
Trolleys follow the beam profile, not the series. Any leg set on a 3×6 beam runs the 2-roller trolley (1100, 2200, 4400). Any leg set on a 3×12 runs the 4-roller (2200 and 4400 on long spans; 6600, 8800 and 11000 as standard). The 3×15 takes its own 4-roller, or the 22000's 8-roller. The 22000 runs the 8-roller on its own beam.
Can I move a beam from one leg set to another?
Yes. Every set of legs within a capacity class can use the same beam: a 4400 beam fits any 4400 leg set in the fleet. Beams do not move across classes. A 25 ft 3×15 rated to 11,000 lb for the 11000 is not put into 6600 legs. What carries across classes is the beam profile and the trolley.
Can I add a 3×15 beam to a 6600R or 11000R I already own?
Ask. The 6600R and 11000R take 3×15-specific cheek plates, so the beam is quoted with the legs it will run on. Send the leg set and the span you need and eme will quote it.
Is there fleet pricing?
Fleet and volume pricing is quoted. Send the capacity classes you run, the spans you see, and the number of sites or branches, and eme will spec the leg sets, the beam and trolley pool, spares and transport frames with it.
