To move a 10,000 lb. membrane.
The Challenge
The space in which this membrane was to be moved was extremely tight.
The Solution
An eme PRO 11000R Gantry Crane could do the job!
Because of the tight space, one leg of the crane needed to be considerably shorter than the other. Both legs then ran on a track that had been installed on the concrete deck and a concrete wall.
This custom aluminum Gantry Crane allowed the membrane to be easily moved, and as a result, no permanent, expensive overhead cranes needed to be installed.
